Elon Musk continues to build his kingdom of free speech on Twitter

This time, technology correspondents Ryan Mack (New York Times), Drew Harwell (Washington Post), Donnie O'Sullivan (CNN), Matt Binder (Mashable), Micah Lee (The Intercept), journalists Aaron Rupar (formerly Vox), Steve Herman (Voice of America) and commentator Keith Olbermann, whose Twitter accounts were suspended.

Musk himself says that the block is temporary, only for a week, and its reason is a violation of Twitter's new rule prohibiting sharing information about the location and movement of people, even if this information is publicly available (such as tracking aircraft). All the blocked journalists have been actively writing in recent days about the ban of Jack Sweeney and his network of accounts for tracking the planes of Musk, Bezos, Russian oligarchs, etc.

The account of the social network Mastodon, which positions itself as an open alternative to Twitter and posted a link to Sweeney’s account, was also blocked.
