Walmart now delivers purchases in half an hour: they will be sent to your home by drone
Walmart is expanding its drone delivery service to more stores in four new cities. In Florida, amenities are now available to customers in Tampa and Orlando. Drone delivery service has also been introduced in Dallas (Texas) and Phoenix (Arizona).
For $3,99, anyone who lives within one mile of a participating store can receive their purchases in just 30 minutes, Walmart said in a statement. Delivery by drones is carried out from 08:00 to 20:00. There are no order restrictions, but package weight cannot exceed 10 pounds (4,5 kg).
