More than half of states are considering tax cuts
27 states are considering tax cuts, an analysis from the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy shows. States such as Mississippi and Arkansas are considering eliminating state income taxes, while others are proposing property tax cuts.
However, high-income households will benefit from such measures, as they pay the most taxes. Low-income households may not experience any change at all.
