General Motors cars will have a voice assistant based on Chat GPT
General Motors Corporation announced a partnership with Microsoft. The cars will have built-in voice assistants: Chat GPT chatbot and DALL-E image generator. Both will run on the Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, which has exclusive access to OpenAI technologies.
The voice assistant will be able to show drivers video instructions in real time, for example, when a car's tires are wearing out. It will also be able to answer driver questions about the meaning of various signals on the instrument panel. This is a step forward in the evolution of automotive voice assistants.
