Chihuahua from Ohio becomes the oldest dog in the world
The achievement was officially registered in the Guinness Book of Records: on December 7, Spike became 23 years and 43 days old, making him the oldest centenarian in the canine world.
The dog's owner, Rita Kimball, found ten-year-old Spike in a Camden parking lot in 2009: the dog was covered in blood and very emaciated. Now Spike has difficulty hearing and seeing almost nothing. The dog loves to spend time on the farm - among cows and horses.
