Gnokor: a new men's trend
Gnomcore is a new men's fashion trend for those who are tired of boring normcore, obsessive logomania, the cult of sneakers, understand irony and are ready to hide their hair in gnome hats. But these gnome-makers are not united by their hats. They are united by a love for comfort and for the actor Christian Bale - he has become a trend icon. You may live on your own and don’t even suspect that you are a gnomometer and are on the cutting edge of fashion, so analysis without cuts is important here. Inspect your wardrobe for the dominance of multi-colored sweaters, wide trousers, green woolen coats, red down jackets, galoshes or old-fashioned shoes. You don’t throw away things that moths have eaten, and what’s more, you wear them with pride. You are no longer asked to show your passport in stores. The last time you saw six packs on your stomach was 15 years ago, but you don’t really need it. You are as grounded as possible and do not do anything uncomfortable for yourself. These are all symptoms of gnomcore. Parsons School of Design professor Richard Haynes says a similar trend emerged after World War II, as evidenced by the outfits in photos from apres-ski parties. Men in bright sweaters, wide-ribbed corduroy pants and lace-up ski boots as a signal that they no longer want to survive the war, but want to live and be happy.
Before you take this fashion course and wear your cashmere turtlenecks to lunch, consider whether you have the sense of humor to be a gnomomere. In Los Angeles, the most stylish residents of the city are homeless; they, in their mushroom caps, long ago flew into space and carried what the same Demna Gvasalia shows us on the catwalks. I’m sure that Gnomkor will quickly take over the city, and soon I will receive an invitation to a forest rave with a Gnomkor dress code.
By the way, I have a beloved gnomkor adept in captivity. The insatiable and immortal California moth devoured all his cashmere. Now he is forced to buy designer items with holes, which this voracious insect can only improve with his activities.
