Alarming economic situation: two-thirds of Americans live paycheck to paycheck
Researchers from Pymnts and LendingClub conducted a survey of four thousand Americans: 64% of them said that their entire salary goes to personal and family needs without the ability to save money. It is noted that about 5% of respondents earn more than $100 thousand a year - but they still do not have enough money. The average American, according to official government data, earns just over $58 thousand annually.
Inflation and rising food prices are the main factors that have affected the well-being of citizens.
