In the USA, a fireman refused to extinguish his ex-wife's house
Fire victim Helen was beside herself with rage when the arriving firefighters suddenly stopped dead in their tracks a short distance from the burning house, instead of saving it from the raging fire. It turned out that the chief of the fire brigade was her ex-husband Jim. Their married life lasted 15 years, after which everything collapsed due to the fact that another man appeared in her life. The divorce process dragged on for more than a year, with scandals, and in the end she managed to win the house.
According to the court decision, Jim and his family and friends were prohibited from approaching Helen closer than 500 meters. The furious housewife had to call another brigade of firefighters, but by the time they arrived at the scene, only ashes remained from the wooden house.
