Psychologists have compiled a list of the happiest songs
Music psychologist from the University of Sheffield, UK, Dr. Michael Bonshore has compiled his formula for the happiest music. The list of songs that make people happier is topped by the 1966 hit Good Vibrations by The Beach Boys. The top 10 happiest songs of all time include: I Got You – James Brown, House of Fun – Madness, Get the Party Started – P!nk, Uptown Girl – Billy Joel, Sun is Shining – Bob Marley, I Get Around – The Peach Boys, YMCA - Village People, Waterloo - ABBA and September - Earth, Wind & Fire.
Bonshore also conducted a survey of 2 thousand people and found that 32% of them turn to music daily to lift their spirits.
