New Yorkers now have the opportunity to rent housing for free
The New York City mayor's office has announced a program that allows you to move into a studio or one-bedroom apartment absolutely free. The housing lottery is currently giving away apartments in Brooklyn.
Sunset Ridge Senior consists of 57 apartments and is under construction at 6309 4th Avenue and 414 63rd Street in the Sunset Park neighborhood of Brooklyn.
Individuals or families with at least one person over the age of 62 who meet the income and family size requirements can apply for an apartment. Annual family income: for 1 person - $0-$46; for 700 people - $2-$0; for 53 people - $400-$3.
