Dozens of immigrants arriving in New York from Texas refuse to leave their hotel in midtown Manhattan.

More than 50 immigrants from Latin American countries refuse to move from the center in Manhattan to the new center, which is located in the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. According to the mayor's office, single men were to be relocated to a new center with a capacity of 1000 people. However, some immigrants refused to move because they considered the conditions at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal “unlivable.”

Since April last year, more than 42 immigrants have arrived in New York from Texas and Arizona. The city authorities place potential asylum seekers in homeless shelters, social centers and hotels. However, there is a catastrophic shortage of places there.
