In California, 10 people were killed in a shooting in Monterey Park: the suspect is at large
According to police, the shooter came to the dance studio in Monterey Park last night. He took out an assault rifle and started shooting at people. 10 people were killed and another 10 studio visitors were injured. The suspect is being sought by the police. There were a lot of people in the dance studio where the shooter arrived. They all celebrated Chinese New Year.
New York Governor Kathy Hochul expressed condolences to the relatives of the victims. Many events are planned in New York City today to celebrate Chinese New Year. Therefore, security measures will be strengthened in the city.
