A tumor the size of a football: the scammer deceived subscribers by pretending to be sick
19-year-old Madison Russo from Iowa told her followers on TikTok the terrible news: she was diagnosed with lymphoblastic leukemia, pancreatic cancer and a tumor in her spine the size of a football. The girl filmed a video with IVs and showed extracts from the local clinic. Doctors saw Russo's videos and suspected her of simulating, which they reported to the police.
It turned out that the girl really invented the disease. In total, she was donated $37 thousand for treatment. Russo will now face trial for fraud.
