French family sues Airbnb: their little daughter died from fentanyl in a rented apartment

The Levenir family (two parents and five children) came from France to Wellington (Florida) to relax: they rented a luxurious house overlooking the lake through Airbnb.

The next day, 19-month-old Enora was playing with her siblings when she suddenly fell asleep. An hour later, the mother approached her daughter and realized that she was not breathing: she tried to resuscitate the baby, but the doctors who arrived pronounced her dead. Little Enora had a lethal dose of fentanyl in her blood. The parents are suing Airbnb for negligence, claiming that the rental home was previously rented out for parties and was not cleaned properly.
