Scientists from Emory University (Atlanta, Georgia) are conducting an experiment with a vaccine against dysentery and are looking for volunteers. To participate in the program, researchers need healthy people between 18 and 49 years old to be infected with Shigella, a bacteria that causes severe diarrhea. The subjects will be preliminarily divided into three groups: one will receive two doses of the vaccine, another will receive one, and the third will receive a placebo. You will have to spend 11 days in the hospital and become familiar with all the symptoms of diarrhea. For this, scientists are offering a reward of $4250.
