Another person involved in Navalny's death case has emerged

The investigation into the death of opposition leader Alexei Navalny continues to acquire new details. Another key figure has appeared in the case – 35-year-old tuberculosis specialist Ruslan Vergeles, who was previously unknown to either the media or the oversight bodies. Vergeles, a native of Ukraine, has military training and previously served as a paramedic in a military unit in the Chelyabinsk region.

As it became known, he worked in IK-3 as an infectious disease doctor, and then retrained as a TB specialist. Vergeles' identity was kept secret for a long time, even during the inspection of the colony's medical and sanitary unit. Now his participation raises questions among investigators examining all the circumstances surrounding Navalny's death.

The media also drew attention to a post by Vergeles' wife on social media. On the eve of the tragedy, she congratulated her husband on Father's Day, which adds even more intrigue to the case.
