Twitter has allowed marijuana advertising: this is the first social network in history to take such a step
Now on Twitter you can see advertisements for companies that produce cannabis products. Previously, only products with CBD, one of the hemp cannabinoids, could be advertised on the platform. Twitter said it would only allow content from companies that have a license and whose product is aimed at people over 21 years of age.
Other social networks, including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, still do not allow advertising of products containing marijuana.
