Biden Administration Announces Expansion of Immigration Program for Residents of Nicaragua, Haiti and Cuba
The US President said that residents of three more countries (Nicaragua, Haiti, Cuba) will be able to immigrate to America and receive a so-called humanitarian password for two years. However, citizens of these countries need to obtain documents at home. The main conditions for participation in the program: immigrants need to find a sponsor in the United States and undergo verification. Only after this can they come to the states for two years and obtain a work permit.
Residents of Venezuela can now undergo the same procedure. Citizens of Ukraine under a similar program can fill out documents for the “Uniting for Ukraine” program.
As Biden said, if residents of Nicaragua, Haiti, Cuba and Venezuela try to illegally cross the border with Mexico, they will be deported back.
