How many people emigrate to the USA?

The current population of the United States is 338 million people (4,2% of the total population of the Earth). It is the third most populous country in the world after China and India. The average age of a person living here is 37,6 years. About 80% of the population profess Christianity. Yes, America is a very religious country.

Life expectancy is 78,5 years, by the way in Russia this figure is 66,5 years, and for Russian men in general 59,8 is a tragedy, at the level of African countries, but that is another topic.

On average, population growth in the United States has ranged from 10% to 0,6% per year over the past 1 years. In 2022, 4,2 million were born and 2,7 million died, that is, the natural increase was 1,5 million people. Plus, America gained an additional 1 million people due to immigrants in a year. According to forecasts based on statistics from past years, in 2023 the US population will increase by 2,5 million people, of which 1,5 million will be natural growth and 1 million due to immigrants. By the way, 1 million immigrants per year is about 2800 immigrants every day! Impressive, right?

In general, the number of immigrants in the United States is growing every year, but only slightly. There have been years in US history when the population increased by 1,3-1,7% per year. That is, the migration situation is now relatively calm.
