Mocking payment of a fine: the violator sent the police an envelope of change

In Pennsylvania, a man was given a $15 fine for illegal parking. He decided to show his disagreement with the police decision in an original way: to pay it with 150 10-cent coins. He put the change in an envelope and sent it to the police department. The officers responded to this prank with irony, saying that the shortage of coins in the United States is a myth; at least 10-cent coins are abundant in America.

Interestingly, a resident of the state paid an additional $7,8 for postal services.
