$800000 spent on State Farm Stadium
One of the Super Bowl requirements is an indoor stadium or arena with a retractable roof. But in 2023, the NFL has gone even further.
It took $800000 and 2 years of work to cover State Farm Stadium. Natural grass was specially grown and brought to the stadium two weeks before the main sporting event of the year. To ensure that the natural surface receives enough light, the stadium organizes a daily “departure” of the lawn outside the arena so as not to miss the sun’s rays.
