Homeless people liked places near ATMs

American ATMs in New York have long become a gathering place for homeless people. Well, or their place of life, in a kind of illegal shelter. To get into such a room with ATMs you often need to attach a card, but for many this is not a problem. Some banks hire security guards to guard the premises 24/7 and prevent homeless people from spending the night there, but of course they cannot hire security guards everywhere. Most ATMs are filled with sleeping homeless people. At the same time, they are not at all shy about visitors; they can stare at you as if you had entered their home.

Of course, all this also applies to metro stations, where, unlike in our countries, the police do not kick anyone out. Well, they sleep and sleep, the main thing is not to bother anyone. The funniest thing happens in subway cars during rush hour: the whole car is packed with passengers like a jar of cucumbers, and on the seats, having occupied several at once, a homeless person is calmly snoring to himself. At the same time, passengers look around completely emotionlessly, as if nothing is happening.
