Robin Williams always helped the homeless during his lifetime
Today I will tell you the stories of two famous Americans who inspired me. There is so much information noise and not the most pleasant news in the world now that I just want to believe in goodness again.
The most popular YouTube blogger in America, Jimmy Donaldson aka Mr Beast, constantly gives his subscribers iPhones, money, and once an entire island and thousands of eye surgeries for blind people in different countries. In one podcast, he admitted that he spends all his money on gifts for his audience and on creating new videos, but he simply does not have free access to his capital. Jimmy is 24 years old and lives in North Carolina, in his hometown called Greenville. For a second, the population there is smaller than my Oktyabrsky - about 80 thousand people. But even though Jimmy has the second most subscribers in the world on YouTube (after Pewdiepie, who is from Sweden), he doesn’t really want to live a luxurious life. He encourages everyone to do good and do as much charity as possible.
Another person who has also been noted for his good nature is actor Robin Williams. During his lifetime, he constantly invited homeless people to act as extras in his films. Moreover, this was his requirement stated in the contract. For every event or film Williams made, a certain number of homeless people had to be hired. He believed that every person has the right to a second chance in this life. Thus, the actor helped more than 1500 homeless people. By the way, Robin Williams is one of my favorite Hollywood actors. If you are not familiar with his work, I recommend watching films with his participation: “Dead Poets Society” and “Good Will Hunting.”
