With two storms heading toward the state, one across nearly the entire state, residents are being urged to prepare for heavy rain, snow and large gusts of wind. A second storm will hit California starting Tuesday. Authorities say more than 26 million people could be at risk from possible flooding. Snow will continue to fall in the Sierra Nevada throughout the weekend. Forecasters said about 3 feet (almost one meter) of snow was expected in the area by Monday morning.
