The first two-story 3D-printed house in the United States will be built in Texas.
A giant printer in Houston will print a two-story house for the first time in the United States. The 3D printer pours concrete layer by layer to form a 4000-square-foot (1219 m²) home.
In the future, engineers are confident, this technology will make it possible to build apartment buildings cheaper and faster.
The house began to be printed in July and today it is almost half completed. Project leaders say they are in no rush because they want to study the machine's capabilities, how the material reacts and optimize the process.
