7-year-old boy and father wounded by pellet bullets during shootout

The child and his 32-year-old father were walking in front of the market at 2212 Victory Blvd when a suspect armed with a BB gun opened fire from a sports car around 16:20 p.m., police said.

The father was wounded in the chest, and the boy was wounded in the ear. Both suffered minor injuries at the scene, police said. The suspect was driving a black Ford Mustang with no license plate and fled. There were no arrests.
