Russian hackers hacked the taxi order distribution system at the New York airport
Russian hackers again...American citizens Daniel Abayev and Peter Leyman, together with Russian hackers, organized a hack into the taxi order distribution system at New York's Kennedy Airport. The scheme worked for two years: since 2019, for $10, taxi drivers could not wait in line, but get an order quickly. Taxi drivers made about a thousand trips a day under special conditions.
Today both accused were detained. They are charged with computer hacking and conspiracy to commit hacking.
