New housing lotteries in New York
New York has a city program called the Housing lottery. The housing lottery allows city residents with a certain income to participate in a drawing for inexpensive rental apartments. Right now you can take part in at least 13 housing lotteries in different areas of the city. For a complete list, visit the New York City Mayor's website.
