Help center for asylum seekers opens at Red Cross headquarters in New York

The main office of the New York City Hall Immigrant Assistance Center will open on February 6 at the Red Cross headquarters at 520 W 49th St, New York, NY 10019. Now immigrants (asylum seekers) can come to the center and receive advice without pre-registration. The center will accept people on a first-come, first-served basis from Monday to Thursday. Read more about the center's services on the official website of the New York City Hall.

Let me remind you that there are additional immigrant assistance centers in all five boroughs of New York. There they will help you not only with filling out documents for political asylum, but will also arrange medical insurance and provide information about free benefits.
