Ukraine will not only receive Patriots, but also $37 billion in additional aid
As Reuters reports, negotiators in Congress reached an agreement on funding the government until the end of the current fiscal year, which includes Biden's amendment to provide Ukraine with an additional $37 billion.
I think that all this is links in one chain called “The United States decided to give Putin the last battle.” There were several factors in the current situation:
- firstly, the attacks on Kursk and Engels showed that Russia has no air defense (or everything that was pulled to the borders)
- secondly, the Biden Administration realized that in the new Republican-controlled House of Representatives it would suspend aid to Ukraine, which means that all previously provided aid would go down the drain. And the Biden Administration is already too invested in this war to lose it all because of a few MAGA scumbags.
- and so, based on the first two points, the Biden Administration probably decided right now to provide Patriots to Ukraine, that is, to decide the outcome of the war. Moreover, this is being done when Putin is already almost completely bled dry - and he was bled dry over the previous ten months, doing it unnoticed by him. The decisive turn in the course of the war (the Patriots) is both the main incentive and argument for Congress to accept the $37 billion amendment. I think negotiations were conducted in some such vein between the White House and Republican leaders
In general, it is likely that on February 24, 2023 we will celebrate the complete military defeat of Russian Fascization. If not sooner.
