The Arizona senator came to the meeting wearing a sweater with the words "Dangerous Creature" written on it.

A photo from a Senate meeting is circulating on Twitter, where Democratic Senator from Arizona, Kyrsten Sinema, is wearing a pink sweater with the words "Dangerous Creature" written on it. Video of the meeting shows Republican Mitt Romney approaching her and telling her that “she’s breaking up the internet,” to which she responded “great.”

A few words about Kyrsten Cinema. Unlike Bernie Sanders, whose memes swept the Internet in January, Sinema is one of the most conservative Democrats in the Senate, along with Joe Manchin of West Virginia. Moreover, until 2004, Sinema was a member of the Green Party, which traditionally takes more left-wing positions than the Democrats. Even more interestingly, in 2019 she published the book Who Must Die in Rwanda's Genocide?: The State of Exception Realized (good thread about it), in which she analyzes the Rwandan genocide from the theoretical perspectives of Michel Foucault and Giorgio Agamben. By the way, a list of books by current senators is here.
