Biden promised to transfer 700 tanks to Ukraine and introduce new sanctions against Russia
The United States and Ukraine's allies will give it 700 tanks, 1000 armored vehicles and 2 million artillery shells as part of a new military aid package, Joe Biden said during his visit to Kyiv. He also said that this week additional restrictions will be announced against Russian individuals and companies trying to evade existing sanctions and “support the Russian war machine.”
Biden also announced a $500 million military aid package that will include artillery munitions, anti-tank systems and air surveillance radars.
