Gender-neutral screening: US airports will improve passenger screening technology
$18,6 million spent on developing a “non-binary system” so as not to inconvenience members of the LGBT community.
The technology will make it possible to more clearly inspect passengers without tactile touches. Transgender and non-binary people have been complaining about this for a long time.
Every year, more than 25 thousand complaints about violations of ethical standards during inspections are received by federal authorities.
