Lawyer for boy who killed his mother asks for bail to be reduced to $100
A 10-year-old boy from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who shot and killed his mother because she refused to buy him a VR headset on Amazon, was taken into custody with bail set at $50.
The lawyer for the child, who is being tried as an adult, asked the judge to have his bail lowered to $100 because that's all the money the boy has in his piggy bank. The judge refused such a request. The boy is in pre-trial detention awaiting his next court hearing on January 19.
