Today is exactly two years since the storming of the Capitol.

According to the US Department of Justice, over 2 years more than 950 people were arrested for participation in the storming of the Capitol. However, trials are still ongoing. More than five hundred people were found guilty.

Officer Eugene Goodman confronted the first to enter the Capitol building at a time when the Senate had not yet been evacuated. Since the Senate was close to the site of the attack, the officer decided to lead the crowd behind him to ensure the safety of the senators. As a result, Goodman moved, changed tactics several times: arguing with the crowd - diverting the crowd from the Senate chamber. He did this alone until help arrived. For his actions, he was awarded the Congressional Gold Medal and the Presidential Citizens Medal, the highest honors awarded by Congress and the President of the United States."

As a result of the attack on the Capitol, 4 people died - these were participants in the assault. Some did not suffer a stroke, others suffered from a drug overdose and Ashli ​​Babbitt, who was shot by police. As a result of those events, five officers died in the months following the riots - one from a stroke and four committed suicide. 140 officers were wounded that day. 

And as a result of the attack on the Capitol, 4 people died - these were participants in the assault. Some did not suffer a stroke, others suffered from a drug overdose and Ashli ​​Babbitt, who was shot by police.  

And all because Trump lost the election. The Congress has already given a verdict to the 45th president: it’s all his fault.
