Maryland mayor posts child pornography on social media
Patrick Vojean, the mayor of College Park, resigned Wednesday and was taken into custody hours later on charges of possessing and distributing child pornography on social media. He has not commented on the allegations but said he is cooperating with law enforcement. “I'm leaving to take care of my mental health. I ask that you continue to pray for me and my family,” he said.
Just 2 months ago, an official visited the White House to sign one of the bills.
By the way, Patrick in 2015 became the first gay mayor in the United States.
