Seattle morgue runs out of space for fentanyl deaths

The Seattle-King County morgue in Washington state is already running out of space for bodies, so local officials are considering storing bodies on gurneys. Fentanyl continues to kill many people in the United States. This is a synthetic form of heroin and is much more dangerous than it.

Thirty-five people have died from overdoses in the Seattle area this year.

Seattle-King County Public Health Director Dr. Faisal Khan grimly predicts that the final death toll from fentanyl in 2022 will be three times higher than in 3.
