Vending machines as a business in the USA are present everywhere: in schools, hospitals, office centers

Selling goods and products through automated systems is called vending. You can buy chocolates, chips, soda and other fast and unhealthy food from the vending machine. Such a business is very successful, since goods are sold at a premium, and servicing the machine is cheaper than a retail outlet with a live seller. In our country, such machines have also filled many premises, along with payment terminals, however, this only applies to megacities.

Small towns can be an excellent platform for implementing this business idea from the USA. In America, this market segment has already been so developed that it is very difficult to break through to a good profit through a crowd of competitors. Therefore, American entrepreneur Luke Sanders from Illinois decided to slightly modify this type of business. He sells salads in vending machines called Farmer's Fridges, which have become a successful business venture in the United States. Such machines have a special design: their body is trimmed with natural wood and decorated with “live grass”. The salad ingredients are arranged in even layers in small trays; a serving of salad costs about $8. Every morning, refrigerators are replenished with a fresh batch of salads, and in the evening, the remaining portions are sold at a discount. This innovative small business idea is still in its infancy in the United States, but the popularity of farm refrigerators is growing as there are many people who would happily choose fresh salad over chips and soda.
