Updated map with free food in New York
Charities in New York, schools and volunteers have set up kitchens and food banks in the city where people can get free food. There is a special page on the New York City Hall website that contains all the free lunch and grocery distribution points available in the city.
A map has been created on the page, which currently displays 500 such points. It can be accessed via this link. Above the map there is a search bar by address. In addition to the map, you can use the list to the left of the map to find your nearest free food location. It offers a filter by food type, including halal and kosher food. Free food can be accessed in all five boroughs of New York City. In most places there are no restrictions. However, it is better to call the organization in advance and clarify all the details.
