New York City Hall sells ventilators and protective equipment against COVID for next to nothing

According to journalists from The City, the New York City Hall sold medical equipment and protective equipment against Covid at an auction for half a million dollars. However, back in 2020, Bill De Blasio’s administration spent $225 million on this equipment.

For example, 24 thousand ventilators worth $3 million went under the hammer for just $12 thousand.

As the publication notes, millions of dollars are taxpayers' money that eventually evaporated into thin air. Former New York Mayor Bill De Blasio has not yet commented on this news.
