BLM activists accuse Los Angeles police co-founder of movement's cousin of murder

Keenan Anderson, 31, a teacher and cousin of one of the founders of the Black Lives Matter movement, Patrisse Cullors, died after being electrocuted by police.

However, only now a recording made on January 3 has appeared, writes the People Power channel. The footage shows a police officer approaching the scene of the accident as Keenan Anderson asks for his help. When he stopped, the officer ordered the man to “stand against the wall.” Anderson walked to the sidewalk, knelt down, and raised his hands behind his head. A few minutes later, the man tried to leave in a panic attack. He is stopped by three policemen, who put the teacher on the asphalt. At this time, Keenan Anderson repeatedly asks for help and repeats: “They want to kill me like Floyd.” And then for several minutes the police choke and beat the man using a stun gun.

Keenan Anderson was taken to hospital, where he died several hours later. Now BLM activists are calling for the resignation of Los Angeles Police Chief Michel Moore. However, the head of the department has already stated that Anderson committed a criminal offense as a result of the accident. According to police, Anderson attempted to flee the scene by attempting to "get into another person's car without his permission," the BBC reports.

The results of the examination showed that Anderson used cannabis and cocaine.
