Harvey Weinstein gets a new sentence in rape case
Famous Hollywood film producer and co-founder of Miramax Films Harvey Weinstein was convicted of rape and sentenced to 16 years in prison. He received this sentence in addition to the 23-year sentence he is already serving. Thus, 70-year-old Weinstein will serve 39 years. The names of the victims are not disclosed, but it is known that the producer’s victims were his assistant and stylist, as well as the wife of the governor of California.
Weinstein had a hand in creating such films as Kill Bill, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Rambo IV and many others.
