Mark Kornbluth's new photo exhibition "DARK" at Cavalier Galleries about closed cinemas during the pandemic
In times of coronavirus, cinemas have turned off the lights: no posters, visitors or bright signs. It was then that photographer Mark Kornbluth began creating his masterpieces, which he has now collected into one exhibition “DARK” at the Cavalier Galleries in Chelsea.
Only the billboards outside and the streetlights were “studio” lighting. The photographer presented images of various cinemas and theaters, such as the Ambassador, Barrymore, Booth, Eugene O'Neill, etc.
