Huge line of migrants lined up at Texas border
In anticipation of the repeal of Title 42, a crowd of migrants waits to enter the United States: a drone from above captured a long line of refugees near the city of Brownsville. People without any luggage in most cases have only folders with a minimum set of documents. Mostly refugees from Venezuela are queuing, but there are also residents of Haiti, Cuba and Nicaragua.
On May 11, Trump’s “anti-Covid law” expires: now Americans will not be able to simply expel migrants. However, the Biden administration wants to adopt new rules: the United States will not allow into the country those who have not sought asylum in a neighboring country, such as Mexico.
