21763 Russians were processed by US authorities at the southern border this year

In October alone, 2020 people arrived,” reports The New York Times with reference to data from local authorities.
Also November 21 U.S. Department of State announced that Afghan refugees who received a parole and Ukrainians who came to America under the United for Ukraine (U4U) program would automatically receive the right to work and a social security number. They won't have to wait months for their Employment Authorization Document (EAD) as they do now.
