Supreme Court rules to uphold Trump's Title 42 program
The US Supreme Court has decided to uphold the Title 42 program, which has been in effect at the Mexican border since March 2020. The program allows border officials to turn immigrants back into Mexico, citing quarantine rules.
Advocates argue that Title 42 illegally bars people from applying for asylum when trying to enter the United States.
Let me remind you that when the pandemic began, Donald Trump made this decision. Under Biden, this order, also called Section 42, was quietly in effect. So border guards sent more than 2 million immigrants to Mexico.
