New York City public school cafeterias infested with insects and rodents

Over the past three years, 400 New York City public schools have been inspected and found to have cockroaches, mice, rats and flies. This is evidenced by data from the city health department. In more than 100 canteens, flies were found, and in some even mice or their traces, as well as cockroaches. In addition, some canteens served cold food. Parents are concerned that their children may get food poisoning at school.
