Iconic Century 21 store returns to Manhattan
Century 21 announced its return to New York last May. And now it has become known that the iconic store a few meters from the World Trade Center will open on April 25th. Almost nothing will change in the store. The center at 22 Cortlandt Street in Manhattan will offer discounts on branded clothing, bags, accessories, perfumes and cosmetics.
The company will undergo a small rebranding in 2023. However, the size of the store, which is 4 floors, will remain the same.
In 2020, American outlet chain Century 21 filed for bankruptcy and closed 13 stores, including in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida. The reason was the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic. And the first Century store opened in Brooklyn in the Bay Ridge area back in 1961.
