Homeless man strangled to death on subway by Marine Daniel Penny

Journalists have learned the name of the Marine who killed a homeless man on the New York subway. The young man who used a chokehold and killed a homeless man on the New York subway was 24-year-old Marine Daniel Penney. He has already been charged. From 2017 to 2021, he served as an infantry squad leader and water survival instructor in the Marine Corps. However, according to the police, Daniel Penn is still on the Marine Corps staff.

Let me remind you that a young man on the F train in Manhattan tried to calm 30-year-old Jordan Neely using a chokehold. As a result, the homeless man died on the spot. According to witnesses to the incident, Neely behaved aggressively and stated that “he will never go to jail.” In New York, the man was arrested 44 times, and it is also known that he had mental health problems.

Earlier, a protest in memory of a homeless man was held in New York. And the mayor of the city, Eric Adams, said that outraged residents should give the investigation time to understand the details of this high-profile case.
