At least 600 children were sexually abused by a Baltimore church
Prosecutors in Maryland have accused clergy at a Baltimore church of covering up more than 600 cases of child sexual abuse. We are talking about crimes committed over the past 60 years. Some of the children had been abused for decades, state Attorney General Anthony Brown said. There are 156 priests named in the indictment, but Brown's report suggests the number is much higher. The archbishop of the scandalous church did not deny the accusations, but only stated that “these atrocities actually took place.” Whether the case will go beyond accusations is unknown.
